Caught Patrick Landeza performance in Redwood city last night and it was wonderful. Backed by 4 great musicians he performed flawlessly and instilled the Christmas spirit in those of us not quit ready to accept that its that time of year again, and brought tears to the eyes of many when he sang of his love of family, and missing his dad, in a song written the first Christmas after his passing.

It was also a night of laughter, and fun with the audience being included in the obvious comradery between these 5 talented musicians. It was a warm fuzzy when mom took center stage, and out classed them all, with an up tempo hula, done with the flow and percision of only those that have lived a life of loveing experiences can bring.

Patrick is without doubt a slack key chameleon and we have only begun to see his many musical abilities. We have become accustomed to seeing Partick stand and perform behind many great artist But last night I had a privelidge of listening to a different Patrick, and dare I say now without being blasphemous, that it does not take a wizard to see that it won't be long before this generation will have its living Sonney, and Ray and Gabby in the solo performances of Patrick Landeza.
