E ho'olei ka 'upena ma ka apapa,
Malaila, loa'a he nui lehulehu,
Ma ka maile 'o ke kakahiaka,
E ho'olohe mai ke hea aku nei au,
Ma ke kuahiwi e hea aku ana,
Ho'una nei i ka'u mele,
E hele mai, o wau ho'i he kahakai,
