Hi Folks, Has anyone heard of Unis and Co? I have an older soprano labled "Unis & Co. manufacturers of string instruments Honolulu T.H." Looks like plain koa, with wood rope-patterned binding on the top of the body. The soundhole has a ring of the same purfling and two very thin light wood rings around it. The neck is a rather sharp v profile. From the looks of the tuners it may have been made in the 1950s. They are conical banjo style pegs in nicely made metal ferrules. The headstock shape is a little like a Kay banjo. No pearl or headstock decoration. Overall it looks like a modest but well crafted instrument.
