Thanks for the respond Bobby, I'll see if I can get a hold of that Makana CD and check it out. Also thanks to all others that have responded to my request, for insight on this tune. I have been away from the islands too long and really appreciate the Aloha here at Taro Patch . Any slackers in Oregon want to jam , drop me a line . Maybe we can work on figuring out this song together and maybe teach others what we learn, Aloha AL |

I tabbed Jerry Byrd's version for steel guitar. It's in A6 tuning (lo to hi: C# E F# A C# E).
Intro, first chorus (steel) in A, second chorus (guitar) in F, third chorus (steel) back in A. I only have the steel parts tabbed in.
Useful to anyone? I have it as a pencil and paper chart. I haven't gotten around to putting it into PowerTab.

No need for embarassment. It's just been a hot topic lately... and I am trying to keep clear of any possible legal problems.
My lawyer has gotten enough of my money already! (...btw, not for this site, just work stuff - another company copied my company's name and the legal fees add up fast.) |
