Aloha m4k4n4 and welcome to the TaroPatch! Nice start on your slack key repertoire, especially La Paloma and Hula Blues...those two aren't exactly easy. |

Greetings m4k4n4
Hula Blues? I'm impressed. One of the most fun songs there is to play in my opinion. Elixirs' will save your fingers on that one for sure. |

Gee...show off eh? Only Hi'ilawe and Ku'u Home...Nah. I wish I could play those, too. With those keys, you should try fiddling around. You can just about play anything now. Like watching Led Ka'apana or someone on video. You'd be surprised how fast you will pick up what they are playing. I mean, unless you been doing that already. A hui hou...Keali'i. P.s. My favorite is "Radio Hula" by Led Ka'apana. It was one of my first songs I learned by watching and by ear. |

Ozzie is an excellent teacher...do whatever you can to get over there for lessons! There are several different slack key arrangements of La Paloma...where did you learn yours from? |

That's Ray Kane's arrangement...as played on the Hawaiian Rainbow DVD if I recall correctly. Great arrangement. |
