We just heard that our friend Eddie Snift died Tuesday night of a heart attack. Eddie was a musician, a regular at the So Cal Slack Key Society meetings and concerts and was a genuinely humble guy. A Tongan, he loved and performed Hawaiian music. He knew he needed bypass surgery, but refused it. I know that his wife died a while back and I believe he knew it was his time. Sorry to hear that...Eddie was a really nice guy and a talented musician. Don, you should record the song you wrote about him and put it up on the SoundClick page as a tribute.
