I heard an old live recording of some Hawaiian musicians doing a naughty song that was probably called "Hemo Skin". One verse was:
"Everybody likes to eat opihi,
Some say it tastes just like sashimi,
When I come home at night and Mommy asks me where I been,
I tell I was eating the opihi."
On the recording I have there were several verses, each accompanied by suggestive noises and much laughter.
Does anyone know this song? Anyone have the words? My recording is very poor and I can't understand them all.
Mahalo!

Aloha hapakid,
This is a kolohe song usually done when drinking together at party's and the keiki are sleeping. Over the years, many verses have been put together. It is often sung together with "Salomila" as Uncle Led Ka'apana does.
But, as I remember my mom and tutu used to sing their verses was:

Oh Hemo, hemo skin. Why do they say it's such a sin. When I come home late at night, mommy ask me where I been...mommy I've been busy "Hemo skin"
Oh daddy, daddy what is that...hanging down like a baseball bat
Daughter, Daughter don't say that this is what makes mommy fat...this is what we use to "Hemo skin".
Oh mommy mommy what is that. Between your legs and kind of fat.
Daughter, daughter don't say that...this is mommy's pussycat, this what I use to "Hemo-skin"

Again, there is so many verses and maybe some of the "patcher's" will have others that they do or remember. It is one of the old ino songs, though that is still fun to do.
A hui hou, Keali'i.

Thanks Keali'i! The old recording I have of that song is cleaned up a bit for the stage, but here's another verse (some words are unclear):
Walking down the beach one night,
There was no one else in sight,
My ipo honey and me, we lay down to sleep,
Baby, won't you hemo my daddy?

My parents, now elderly, didn't want to tell me what that old song was about. Hmmmmmmm...
