Just a heads up on the Kamakahi 2004 schedule. Keep an eye out for David's debut solo CD titled Pa`ani.
June 5 - Pearlridge Shopping Center (Downtown) 6pm - 8pm - DAVID KAMAKAHI's solo CD celebration with special guests: Jon Yamasato, Herb Ohta Jr., Keoni Kaawa, and Dennis Kamakahi.
June 19 - Moloka'i Slack Key Festival at the Mitchell Pau'ole Com. Center in Kaunakakai, Moloka'i from 10pm - 6pm.
June 25 & 26 - George Kahumoku's Slack Key Camp at Napili, Maui.
June 27 - Maui Slack Key Festival at the Maui Arts and Cultural Center in Kahului, Maui from 2pm - 7pm
July 23/25 2004 - RELEASE OF DAVID KAMAKAHI's CD - PA'ANI in Hawaii
July 23 - Border's Ward Center at 8pm
July 25 - Border's Waikele at 2pm
August 3 - Kapalua Ritz Carleton Slack Key Concert w/ George Kahumoku and Dennis Kamakahi w/special guest David Kamakahi, 6pm at the Amphitheater.
August 15 - Honolulu Slack Key Festival at Kapiolani Park Bandstand from 11am - 6pm.
August 18 - Aloha Hawaii Music Festival at the Filene Center, Wolftrap National Park in Vienna, VA featuring The Brother's Cazimero, The Masters of Slack Key - Ledward Kaapana, Cyril Pahinui, and Dennis Kamakahi, - Hawaiian Music's Next Generation - Patrick Landeza, David Kamakahi, Herb Ohta Jr., and Keoki Kahumoku. Starts at 7pm
September 4 - Big Island Slack Key Festival at the Hilton Waikoloa Hotel from 4pm -10pm.
November 21 - Kaua'i Slack Key Festival (location TBA)
November 2004 - Waimea Ukulele and Slack Key Guitar Workshop in the Kahilu Theater, Waimea , HI (TBA)
