Yes to both questions. (Although if you prefer an MP3 CD I can provide that too/instead.) |

The current count is 32 songs received from 29 different TaroPatchers with another 5 songs by 5 more people in limbo. There is another topic with a list of songs (please don't post to the other topic unless you're a contributor...non-contributors post here). |

To bad this CD won't go public. Looks like a real "Gem" to me. I'm very happy to see so many participants. Right on! Aloha ya'll. |

Shame on you Craig. There are TWO ukes on our submission.
It would also have been better if the interview questions were Taylored (pun intended) so that they were not so focused on Slack. Such as "How long have you been playing Hawaiian music?" rather than "How long have you been playing Slack-Key". Of course I do not think the "tilt" on the questions stopped anyone from submitting more Uke stuff, just something to think about for next time.

Aloha Craig:
this may not be in time for this year's CD, ok? I'm working on John Keawe's "Mama's Music Box" and as soon as rossaraus helps me record it, it's flying your way. Also, I have to get John's permission to use it. Just to let ya know. . . . . . . . mahalo. |

i got my copy of the CD last night at our SDSKS meeting. it's great! the variety and quality of the music is a big step up from the last CD; we're getting good! the production quality is awesome too - the recording quality of most of the tracks is very good, and sarah's artwork is a joy to see.
if we keep this trajectory, then CD III is going to be picked up by dancing cat records =)
mahalo nui loa craig for pulling this together...
aloha, keith

Mine arrived in the mail today! Very, very impressive. The music, artwork, everything. Thanks to Craig and Sarah for really putting this thing together - and to everyone who took the time to record and contribute.
Even though we have a great time sharing messages here, isn't it all about the music? It's so much fun to listen to all of you play. |

I saw the CD last night at the SCSKS meeting also, and it is truly an eye poping, mouth droping work of art. Craig truly a magnificent job my friend. Sarah it's a beautiful and very very professional piece of art.
Congratulations and heart felt Mahalo's to you both. |

Aloha kakou,
Thanks, everyone, for the appreciative feedback. And thanks, Craig, for taking on "the big job." It was definitely a project worth doing!!
Reid and I received the cds in the mail yesterday, and listened last night. Wow!! we have so much talent and dedication here on TP it is amazing, and joyous.
Thanks to everyone who submitted and shared their playing with the rest of us -- I know it's hard to prepare a recording -- but it was truly a joy to hear everyone, and I couldn't believe how fast the cds were over (time flies when you are having fun!)
me ke aloha no, Sarah

Craig,
My last email reply to you about your question about the number of CDs to send us was BLOCKED by a spam-blocker at your end. Therefore, I must answer you here ... just one copy is fine.

So Lawrence, do you want Disc 1 or Disc 2? Just kidding. I don't know what happened with the spam-blocker...I guess you need to stop emailing me about how the free Viagra has increased the size of your mortgage savings. |
