Does anyone know if there is any Classic Christmas songs, tabbed in Taro Patch, out there ? My daughter in law and I would like to learn a few for our family Xmas gathering this year.
I suggest the Mark Hanson Christmas Fingerstyle book. Since he has publised a slack key tab and a Christmas book I asked him if he planned a slack key Christmas book. No plans but a couple of the Christmas song are in alt tunings.
Joy to the World and Silent Night both play easily in Taro Patch with an alternating bass. I haven't tabbed either of them yet, but Silent Night sounds like it was written for Open G. I would not be surprised to find out that Franz Gruber actually wrote it for that tuning.
