Aloha Kakou,
At Ledward's recent concert in Seattle, there were postcards available (along with the CDs) that announce the "Led Ka'apana Aloha Acoustic Workshop" held Aug 17th - 20, 2005, "On the Beach at Waikiki" at the Outrigger Waikiki Beach Hotel.
Instruction in Slack Key, steel guitar, 'ukulele, banjo (?), hula, songs, and 'olelo.
Sounds great...problem is, the web address given (as under construction) doesn't exist yet, and there is no info on Led's website.
Anybody know anything else about this?

Unless Led Kaapana is a time traveler, the workshop dates are incorrect -- he'll be on the mainland Aug 12-19 doing gigs in CA, NV, and VA.
A quick check of the hotel's website showed two slack key workshops on Aug 14 -- Ray Kane and Jeff Peterson:

The Outrigger link says 2004, but the cards Led is passing out says 2005. Having just spent some time with him, it is my understanding it is 2005.
