Konabob here. I was sleuthing around on Dennis and Ledward's web sites and discovered that the Waimea Ukulele/Slack Key Institute is starting to come together! I wrote to the organizers and found out the dates. I am sharing the information here with you... it is not coming directly from the organizers just yet... they are still working on the event.
It looks like Dennis Kamakahi, Ledward Kaapana, and others will be part of this 4 day workshop in beautiful Waimea on the Big Island. The setting is wonderful, intimate, and the acoustics are really nice at the Kahilu Theater.
The Institute will be November 12, 13 and 14 this year.
