As a guest from the slack key side...I would really be surprised if they questioned a uke with so many guitars, violins and others getting on board. My wife and I took a guitar, uke and violin to Maui...and yea, I was apprehensive...but only one agent asked if I used it professionally.
If they ask if you use it professionally, just say yes...I mean, at what level does it count...hey, we're all either pro, semi-pro, wannabe pro, music therapists and/or embassadors who entertain and possibly facilitate our gatherings...
If you Smile and dress nicely it can't hurt either...
But don't sweat the ukes!
