Does anyone know where I can find the music & lyrics to two songs called "Cafe Life" or "Hula Blues"? I heard it on an old recording that I think was Duke Kahanamoku and friends, then I heard an updated version on a recording by Bliss Blood & the Moonlighters.
Thanks for any info!

Other really excellent Hula Blues performances:
Owana Salazar on Wahine slack n Steel
Sonny Chillingworth on Waimea Cowboy & Endlessly
Led K & Bob Broz.... on Kika Kila meets Slack Key
Other good recordings, too, but I like the above

That's the one! Thanks a bunch!
Now if I can just figure out the chord progressions I'll be set on this one.

The music, tab & chords for Hula Blues are in Mark Hanson's book.

Here's a skeleton of the chord progression for "Hula Blues" in G. Each chord symbol represents one measure. I did it by ear. The arrangement in the Mark Hanson book has some more sophisticated chord substitutions.

A Part:
D D G G
D D G G
C7 C7 G A
D D G G

B Part:
D Em D Em
A D A D
