Actually, the picture itself was a mystery to me, although I do have a copy of it. It's not the one I sent Craig. I think Bruddah Keith had his hand in on this one (though not on my shoulder). A very pleasant surprize. Mahalo.

Dave, the picture is cropped from the one you sent me.
My computer is back up and running. One new addition today (so far):
Sarah Whitaker: Ka Manu
Sorry to take so long to get this one up! |

Craig,
Must be the 60's brain cells (or lack there of). I thought the picture I sent was me playing slack on a beat up old Harmony guitar.
Thanks

Aloha, I haven't been online much lately and Admin just alerted me to the fact that my taropatch.net CD submission was posted on SoundClick. I am very surprised because I did not even ask permission to post it.
Craig, how did my song get to be posted without my asking permission from Uncle Ray Kane? |

My mistake...someone else did one of Uncle Ray's songs and got permission and I got the two mixed up. I've removed the MP3 download link from yours for now...can you contact Auntie Elodia and ask if it's OK to have the song online? If not, or if you can't get hold of her quickly, I'll pull the song down completely.
Sorry about the confusion. |

If you downloaded the MP3 for Keith's "Aloha `Oe" already then you may want to download it again...I just uploaded a re-engineered version. |

Craig: Thanks for posting the songs on soundclick, especially since the taropatch cd is not otherwise available. Did not listen to all the songs yet, but I enjoyed Mainkaukau's excellent "Keiki Slack Key" with percussion. And "Papalina Lahilahi" has a nice kanikapila vibe - did not know Andy can sing too. The quality and balance of the recordings are very good.

Something I have noticed about SoundClick:
Their popularity Charts DO NOT WORK the way they say they do.
Their FAQ says that the charts are updated each evening at 4AM based on the number of plays that day. Also that only ONE song is allowed to boil up the charts from each band. The latter may be true but the former is definitely not as Stacey's tune (La Poloma) has been listed every day for the last several weeks as the winning title from the "band" TaroPatch and yet Craig disabled Stacey's tune (so it could not be played back), yet it remained at the "top of the chart".
So it would seem the Sound Click charts are bogus information.
Now, of course, this is a minor issue to many of us who just want a place to share our tracks and who do not care about public recognition! (now, how many performance artist's actually feel THAT way?)

Actually, I merely disable the download of Stacey's tune as an MP3. Stacey, have you had a chance to contact Aunty Elodia? If not I should probably pull the song off SoundClick until you do. Please let me know. |

OK, the last song (for now) is up:
Dusty Foster: Mauna Loa
There are now a total of 47 songs on our SoundClick page for your listening pleasure, or the equivalent of 3 CDs! Enjoy. |
