hi shibbey,
a uke is (usually) tuned GCEA and a guitar tuned EADGBE. so, you could tune string 2 on your uke with string 1 on your guitar.
or, you can get an inexpensive tuner and tune both to the correct notes.
finally, you could get a baritone uke, which most people tune DGBE like the top four strings on a guitar. the nice thing with this is that a chord, say C, on a uke has the same shape as a C on the guitar (except the two low strings don't exist, so you don't need to finger them). that same chord on a GCEA-tuned ukulele is an F.
