Led Kaapana will be performing several times this Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the First Americans Festival celebrating the opening of the National Museum of the American Indian at the Smithsonian (Harvest Stage).
Also, there's a RealPlayer stream of Led playing Live (75-minutes!) at Millennium Stage.
It looked to be in black and white but then I clicked "theater mode" on my player and it played in color. Sounds great.
I may have missed some or may need to be corrected but fyi...
Radio Hula Nani Ku`u Ipo Onaona Koke`e Kalama`ula `Opihi Moemoe Slack Key Lullaby Whee Ha Swing Can't Help Falling In Love (a la Elvis) I Kona Mauna Loa Slack Key (the Poi Song)
I went over to the website to check it out and got sucked into watching the whole thing. It's pretty entertaining. It's worth watching, especially if you've never seen Led live - it's "classic Led". The video quality is a little lacking. However you can still see what he's doing. I think everything is in Taropatch tuning except "Whee Ha Swing" (Slack G) and "Mauna Loa Slack Key" (standard tuning). Andy's song list looks correct. He also drops into "Yellow Ginger Lei" during "Radio Hula".
I search for "Hawaii" on the Millennium Stage website and noticed there is also a performance by George Kuo, Martin Pahinui, Alan Akaka and others. Unfortunately the video and sound quality is not quite as good as the Led video.
