Hey TPers, I saw this on the Community Calendar in the Kaua`i on-line newspaper: SLACK-KEY JAM —The CD release party for Paul Togioka's first solo slack-key guitar effort is Nov. 20 at 12:30 p.m. at Kukui Grove Center, with numerous slack-key artists expected to perform.
Paul is a Kaua`i resident and a wonderful Slack Key artist. I caught his performance at The Waikola Slack Key Festival in Sept and he was excellent - a very skilled technician. Keep an eye out for this CD. I guessing the Auntie Maria will be offering this CD on mele.com when it's officially released.
We've all been encouraging Paul to do a solo CD for _years_...this is a long-awaited release.
I'll be picking up my supply from Milton Lau either Saturday or Sunday -- it'll be on MELE.COM by Monday, for sure. Wu-huuuuu!
