The Place: The Maritime Heritage Building on South Lake Union The Entertainment lineup: 2002 NA HOKU AWARD WINNERS: THE MANA'O COMPANY 2002 MERRIE MONARCH HULA FESTIVAL HALAU HULA: MOANA'S HULA HALAU O MOLOKA'I THE FALSETTO SHOWCASE WILL INCLUDE: MOKE BOY FROM WAI'ANAE, RA'IATEA HELM FROM MOLOKA'I AND RODDY LOPEZ FROM SEATTLE. HAWAIIAN SPIRITUAL TEACHER: LEI'OHU RYDER FROM MAUI WILL DO THE HAWAIIAN PULE AT HIGH NOON. CHENOA EGAWA FROM LUMMI WILL HONOR THE NATIVE PEOPLES OF THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST AS SHE OPENS THE FESTIVAL WITH HER SONGS. The HO'ALA Festival - Seattle 2002 is going to be out of this world! The festival will showcase positive Hawaiian ideals. This event will include oli, pule, hula, mele, travel and foods of Hawai'i. The event will be held in Seattle. HO'ALA Festival - Seattle 2002!
