Aloha Don, Well said. I agree with what you say about 'not being Hawaiian to play Hawaiian music' I wish many people stop trying to de-construct this music, on so many levels, and simply enjoy it for what it is. Its all about the music, not who plays it. May slack key music continue to grow everywhere. -slkho |

Mahalo for sharing your mana`o. To us, half a world away, the Grammy award had been more an abstract music biz kine thing. Your account showed us just how important it was to people we care for - made it more humanly understandable, accessible emotionally, and immediate.
