New CD "Welo" by Kaumakaiwa Kanaka'ole - getting great reviews -- absolutely fantastic album. Solid in the tradition. Thoroughly modern. Beautifully woven together as an album. I hope the album can have the same kind of effect for today that Sunday Manoa had a generation ago. The kind of album that makes any words about it pale.
