While I wish I could catch some of the other weekend workshops and gatherings on the left coast,

But I'm really looking forward to Bwop's little gathering next Friday in La Honda and some other food, fun and visitin'.

If you're want to try to join us, check in with Bwop--our gracious host, or the Kanikapila link for Menlo Park Sept. 16 or whatever...bla bla bla.

Gotta go shovel snow right now.
I'll pretend I'm on Mauna Kea.

Yes - It's going to be a mighty fine time up at Bwop's this Friday!!

Sorry 'bout the snow in Colorado, but it was an excuse for Mark Hanson to play a Christmas tune at his concert in Los Altos yesterday! I have never seen him play better (maybe his Grammy win makes him work harder) and he did do a Few Hawaiian tunes along with the folk stuff and the blues stuff.

Yes - that was another good time at Bwops place.

Thanks to Peter and again Melinda again for hosting!

It was cool to have both a violin and and an upright
Bass with a bow along with the Ukes and Guits.

Thanks for the wonderful evening - even the dog took a turn in the kanikapila! And that Moe 'Uhane pie was fabulous - yum! So much talent, so much food, so little time! Mahalo nui loa.

Mahalo everyone...
I posted a little thanks you over under old Kanikapila/Menlo Park post...so if ya missed it...
Peter, Melinda, Lawrence, Cynthia, Doug, Larry and all...thanks for the high point of a GREAT working trip.
As Steve Martin said in his goofy white suit days, "and the most amazing thing of all is.....I get paid for doing this"!
It's not Silicon Valley wages, but at least I get free beer...sometimes.
