Some of us seem to have lost the aloha spitit and are taking them selves and playing/helping others to play the guitar way to seriously.

Aloha All!

Thank you all for your replies and encouragement.
The Slack Key Preservation Society ("SKPS" - affectionately prounounced "skips") will be posting a listing of its officers and directors on its website. We have asked some of the professional performers to be on the Board of Directors. George Kahumoku, Jr. has agreed to act as an advisor. George's teaching of slack key and his aloha were inspirational in the formation of SKPS.

As to posting of tablature on the SKPS website, it is planned for the future. However, as mentioned in my previous post. We won't post any tab or other materials without the artist's or author's consent. However, if anyone has any "original" tab or tab of songs in the public domain. Please forward it to SKPS for review and we will consider posting it after review that it is proper to do so.

If any professionals or authors of tab or other material wish to donate their works to SKPS for the benefit of slack key as a whole, we welcome submissions. They can be sent to SKPS to: aloha @ skps.org.

Mahalo,

Ken Armstrong
The Slack Key Preservation Society
