Anyone ever gotten into this, I have a bit. I find that "Scruggs style" banjo goes real well with slack key ,(the up tempo ones), as the two styles are so similar. In fact playing banjo and slide guitar blues style helped me alot to pick up slack key. Same tunings-hammer-ons, pull offs,slides, harmonics, etc. Who wants to put the two together, I'm in Lahaina. Pretty late with a reply here, bt Paul tagioka has a great up tempo song on his KiHoalu Inn CD with banjo and guitar. Really adds some pizzaz to the piece
