After camp one night...there was this "far away radio" effect... a combination of some very distant and vague sessions...which I couln't get near...like a mirage. I could hear music in the trees...like 3 part harmony and several ukuleles...and I dreamt it was like (forgive me) Crosby, Stills and Nash--but Island Style! Gotta find my old CSN songbook... Some things deserve a second wind.
Yes...ya'll were part of the singing trees syndrome... And really glad I didn't go home before I did ukuleles on the beach at midnight, and in the Full Moonty too.
I suspect there were a few other gathings tweaking their ukes in the Maui Breeze those nights...
Long ago and far away... How about a new drink...ukuleles on the beach? May I suggest rum and perhaps some tropical juice?
But how do we make it UKULENIQUE? Bet ya didn't know I could speak French! Oila! --that means oil-- according to my Jethro Dictionary...finally, something that W and the French have in common.
I know, it's only oil and vinegarette, but I love it! Jethroexitus!
