I came across this quote the other day,

"Lean your body forward slightly to support the guitar against your chest, for the poetry of the music should resound in your heart."

I will post the author of this quote in a few days, but I'm curious as to whom you might guess originally said it.

I never have the back of the guitar touching me, just the rim of the upper bout and have it angled slightly up, so I can hear it, and so I don't dampen the vibes from the back. i think I saw a picture of Blind Lemon Jefferson holding his that way. Works OK fer me.
