Aloha mai Kakou! My name is Bryan Tolentino and I am an 'Ukulele player from Mililani, O'ahu. I never really introduced myself althoungh I've been a member since 2003 and i've know Andy since the 2001 UHOF Expo in NJ. My friend Brittni Paiva reminded me that I should do so. I'm very happy to be part of the Taropacth 'Ohana and i'm glad I can contribute to the Forum! Malama Pono, Bryan

Great CD, Bryan. And that's coming from one of those heretics who prefers the sound of a guitar. |

Welcome Bryan,
Happy to see you with the Side Order Band in Hayward at the N.C. Uke fest for several years now. Last time, I remember you singing the now-famous song: "D.I. 14!!".

Hi BRYAN; I am a beginning uke player/ukaholic.My mother-in-law sent me a video recording from Big Island PBS of you and Brother Noland and your killer duet on HENEHENE KOU 'AKA. My basic chord positions don't cut it and I have a hard time following visually.Would you help me through so I can start to jam? I am working on my closed chord positions and I think I know the basic changes. Some hints on the strum/stroke would be appreciated. Mahalo Nui Loa, Sandy Martin.

E komo mai Bruddah Bryan. Terrific stuff on your CD and I also saw you perform at the Hayward Uke Festival. Have a home in Mililani (Mauka side) and was just there 2 weeks ago. Maybe I'll bring a bass and look you up the next time I'm out there. A hui hou... |
