Aloha Kakou from Va. Beach1 I'M a harmonica blues player locally and novice ukeaholic who loves all things Hawai'i,especially the music, and who can't make a kahako on the pc. My wife and I were married on the Big Island, where her parents live 17 years ago. I live for our visits back. Several years ago,Uncle Raymond Kane, Led Kaapana, and Keola Beamer did a performance at our local Childrens hospital for the patients and staff as an expression of Aloha. I was honored to meet them and their cds made me more aware of ki ho 'anu. I don't play guitar but the fathers, and uncles, of this music are role models for us all. a hui hou kakou, Sandy.

Aloha Sandy. Always good to meet another musician who appreciates Hawaiian music and the culture as well. Welcome to the patch... |

Yes - welcome to the patch,
I lived awhile in Ole' Virginny myself, never made it out to the beaches though.
