Rik, Have you confirmed with L&Ls in Oceanside that the next Open Mike is the 9th of November. In September she wasn't ready for us and had packed away some of the gear.
I hope to have my new KoAloha D-VI by then and maybe a new tune or two to play on it.
Anyone know if Keith is teaching his UCSD Ukulele class on Wednesday Nights

L&L on 11.09.05 is a good date. Bill or Terry will bring their amp, although one is provided. See ya then. Maybe Keith, and you will make out this time...the more the merrier. We had a new person show up last time. -slkho |

Um Rik... who is making out with whom?? Don't expect Keith there. I will try to get down there however. And do you get e-mail? and if so, how come you don't answer. I know, it's a technical question... Maggie's looking forward to seeing your ipus in December when she's here. n |

Aloha all - Sorry I will miss you this month! It's raining... By the way, has anyone added Bros Cazimero's "Come to me Gently" to their repertoire? Terry - see you Sat at John and Brittni's in Whittier. Pulikis for all! n |

Hi All, Nice to know we had a good session at L&L last night. Unfortunately, I had a last minute challenge that didn't allow me to attend, but I heard it was crowded and you all played well. Terry, thanks for the tickets, I owe you one. Mike, I have Hoo Malu down pat...next song? I'll be off the TP for awhile, so if anybody needs to reach me, call me direct at home or contact PuaKai and she can relay any messages. -slkho |

Rik, How about the other Sonny song in the same book. It is a step above, sounds good, but has a similar picking pattern. Ho'oma'ama'a |
