Hola,
Is anything going on South Bay and Points south over the Thanksgiving weekend?
We're checkin' economy fares, and contemplating some cruisin' in Monterrey to Carmel, and back to San Leandro area.
Nothing in cement yet...

Hi Gordon,

I'll be around throughout the Thanksgiving weekend too. I'd love to see you and your wife and hear your sweet fiddle again. Let us know which day(s) you'll be free to kanikapila.

Aloha,
Doug

Thanks Cathy, Doug, Dave, Lawrence and all,
Fares are kinda high, but we're watching for flights to the East Bay...it's better for Kalena Hopalongi Mahi-Mahi, wife of Kapila.

But I may wait and sneak out solo for a little project near Stanford...somehow!
just wish I could stay long enough to doze in the redwoods.
I did see one S.F. e-fare tonight...something will happen.
I love the visits...but also hate to leave our home...cats, fire, and an aged turkey. What happened to the Roaring 20's?

Aloha e Gordon,

Talking about redwoods, I have the use of my neighbor's house. It has a nice view of some beautiful redwoods. It's a 3 bedroom/3 bath place, no charge to you, of course. Email me and let me know if that's something which will help you out financially. We are about an hour's drive from Palo Alto, a 20 minute drive from Santa Cruz, 15 minutes from Big Basin State Park. Now THERE are some huge redwoods!!

We have no plans for Thanksgiving other than a small family dinner. You are most welcome, and I am a hell of a cook. (Well, I like to think so, at least)

Hugs, Julie

Thanks all,
we're in Wed late afternoon.
But out Sat 11 am...unless I change something!
At this point the short window is filling too soon, too fast.
Friday is committed to violin recording...and Thanksgiving is with friends in San Leandro area...
Needs a few more redwoods, but I'm in good company...
so unless I open up some time...

well, I guess I'll see ya'll in Maui...kinda like the tentative lineup.

I'll try to allow more time next time in the bay area.

My bad...I started this thread...
and can't seem to connect on the gracious hospitalities.
Could ya'll move to Colorado?
