They have it on occasion, but they sell out quickly. Or, should you be interested, we can go out and try to pick some fresh ones (depending, of course, on whether or not the conditions are calm and safe, and also on whether or not someone else has been out picking the previous day). I'll see you in Waihe`e Vally in June, my friend. Until next time....."

Okay.....enough "pigin-english"...
Aloha and Good Evening TaroPatch Slackers! Today in "Waihe'e Valley", Dr. Eli and myself was joined by Keith (Marzullo), his Wife Susie and couple of their Friends, for some Maui Style Kiho'alu! Dr. Eli and I were in the middle of a song, when I noticed a red car with 4-passengers inside but one was with a guitar! I right-away I recognized them as Susie and Keith! I forgot all about them making a stop here on Maui before leaving for Korea!
I was still at home recovering from my sickness, when Keith mentioned about their trip to Maui. Few seconds later when they exited the car, it dawned on me!.....Anyways, Dr. Eli and I enjoyed Susies cokies! "Much mahalo Susie for the cookies! They we're really tasty! We had a great "kanikajammapila Waihe'e Maui Style" all the way till 4:00 P.M! Myself, Dr. Eli and Keith, all had a turn playing a song. While one played his tune, we played back-up and pa'anis!
We had a really great time today....wish all of you were here too! But hey! June right? Hope to see all of you then! Then on Sunday we can all find a spot on the beautiful lawn of the "Maui Arts and Cultural Center, facing center stage, and enjoy the Kiho'alu Masters jam their "Kiho'alu Stylings"! I might just even join you guys at George Kahumoku's "Slack Key Worshop" too!
Take care all of you! See-ya when I sees-ya! A Hui Hou!

Aloha Keith!
It's always a pleasure being able to "kanikajam" with you! "Susie! I ate all the cookies before I got home!" Yes her name is Missy! Perhaps the next time we get together here on Maui,"kanikajammapila Waihe'e Valley Style", Missy will take her chance at a song or few...
After I packed-up my guitar, that's when I remembered I was supposed to give you the words to "Ku'u Ipo Ika He'e Pu'e One"! By the time I turned around, you guys had already left. Oh well! Log-on to Huapala.com, and you should be able to check-out all the "Hawaiian Music" there.
Hey! Don't be away too long from Maui! I'll be looking forward to the day you make a return trip to our "Valley Isle", and "Susie! No fo-get da cookies!" take care, God Bless to you and all the rest! But above all else...no fo-get.....JUS'PRESS!!!!! A Hui Hou!

Aloha Kakahiaka TaroPatch Ohana!
Myself, Dr. Eli and Kevin ("Ohana" Brown) had a really great "Waihe'e Valley, Maui Kiho'alu Jam" yesterday (5/3/03). "Keith! Where were you?"ha! ha! Anyways, I m looking forward to those of you Mainland Slackers (Keith, Andy, Sarah, Reid included) and the rest of you whom I'm looking forward to meet that will be attending "George Kahumoku's Slack Key Workshop" in West Maui (Lahaina)! I won't be at the workshop, but Kevin will be one of the Kiho'alu Instructors there, but I do hope to see all of you at this year's "Maui Kiho'alu Festival" at the "Maui Arts and Cultural Center" And also, if it's possible to squeeze-in a "Waihe'e Valley, Maui Kanikajammapila". Anyways, I think You'll all enjoy your Lahaina, Maui Kiho'alu Experience with George, Kevin and all the rest. See all of you soon! A Hui Hou!

Julie,
Most all of us who are in George Kahumoku's workshop will no doubt be wearing the "Ohana Kihoalu 2003" T-Shirts for at least part of the time (our stage costumes) !
