I recently saw a video on the Romero Family -- classical guitarists spanning three generations. Very well done and inspiring. The following is a "quote" from the Patriarch, Celedonio Romero. I put quote in quotation marks, because I had to change a phrase a bit to make it intelligible as a stand alone, so it is very close to CR's words, but not exact. (Hey, that's the way I play other people's arrangement, come to think of it.)
"The Sound of the Guitar is Eternal. Every sound you make goes into the Universe for all Eternity...like the pale light of the moon, the twinkle of the stars, Eternal, Eternal, Eternal."
Not only a poet of the guitar, that Celedonio.
