Alhoa all,
We've been invited to play a wedding reception down near the beach in Carlsbad on May 6th. A friend of ours is getting married and the reception will include pig and all the trimmin's -- she asked if I'd supply some slack key, I asked if I could invite the whole crew and she said fer sure no problem.
We should plan this a little bit so I figured I'd let you all know way ahead of time.
Put this on your calendars -- should be a great day.
Bill

Guess we all have to learn "Ke Kali Nei". I want to hear Rik sing it in falsetto! |

Are you REALLY sure you want Rik to sing?? Surely he'll be there since there's free food. And Mike - how about one of your "cheat sheets"on it?

WHAT??!!!! FREE FOOD????!!! COUNT ME IN. hee hee I'll eat the pig, what are the rest of you eating? I won't be singing unfortunately, wouldn't want to scare the children. I want to do an instrumental duet with Mike. We'll have to pick a song that I know, or can learn in a short time. -slkho -slkho |

Rik, Akaka Falls is an easy song but in Keola's C tuning (CGDGBE). You can find both parts in Keola and Mark's book. The second guitar part is easier. |
