Fran,

Yes indeed, I've been scheming away. I want to have a gathering, but I've been holding-off until I'm SURE the flu is gone this time; very persistent bugger!

Anyway, I'm thinking about early February, say Sat Feb 1st, Sun Feb 2nd, or sat Feb 8th are the possible days at this point. We have our Nahenahe chorus performance on the 9th, so that's out. Let me know if one works better than t'other for you. Oh, just remembered Sun Feb 2nd is Temple Bar Luau night, so let's forget that date.

OK, Feb 1st or 8th are some possibilities.

For those who don't know, I'm about eight miles from Bodega Bay, so you could combine a little (temperate) beach time with some slack-key. I've got two guest bedrooms available if anyone would like to stay over, and my friend and neighbor has offered his guest cottage too; reserve now! Also, I'm just four miles from Occidental, where there's plenty of ono Italian food, sorry, is it delicioso, or buono mange..? I guess we could have a fish-fry with a run out to Bodega. Hey, this is tasting...er, sounding better and better!

I'm hoping some of my Nahenahe chorus friends will journey up, but we'll see. Of course, I hope there'll be a uke contingent too.

I'll post again more formally with maps and all when the date is set. Again, all are welcome to come, spread the word.

Hi Fran,

Recognized your name from a mail you had sent regarding a Goodall guitar discussion sometime last year.

Just joined the forum and would be interested in the society. Im in the San Ramon area.

Not sure if I would be able to contribute anything right now (Im still struggling to learn songs of my Keola Beamer video) but would love to join in and hopefully be able to pick up playing knowledge from "senior" players.
