On this beautiful February day, the tradewinds were softly blowing through the palm trees and ironwood pines here on the east side of the Big Island. Most, if not all, of the Big Islands Hawaiian musicians showed up to help Braddah Smitty raise money for the local gym/kupuna center. The event was a success, and has now been proclaimed as the "first annual". The Lim Family, Darlene Ahuna, Brittni Paiva, Times Five, Sudden Rush, KAPA Radio all donated their time and talents. The food was all "local kine" and plenty ono!
Those of you who plan an annual winter migration to the islands might remember that this event will be happening again next year!
