Scott Huckabay rippin' it up!
Makana's friend from Oregon, guitar pioneer Scott Huckabay (picture attached) does 2 sets and jams with Makana at the new downtown art space/ venue Ong King. Scott has his own amazing way of playing guitar, and does a pretty convincing whale imitation using the instrument too! Makana will also perform his own set with Jan Jeffries and Steve Inglis. Also performing are Sango and the Honolulu Underground Theatre Collective. $10 at door. ONG KING, 184 N. King St. at River St. (upstairs)
