Last night's broadcast of the Kamehameha Schools Song Contest (the 85th annual) was absolutely magnificent, from start to finish. This year's focus was the music of Lena Machado -- who wrote some of the best mele, ever.

Oh darn. Missed it this year and missed the repeat as I was driving back from Kona and the loveley concert there. Any chance there will be another replay? It's a favorite annual show.
