Aloha all in the Bay Area,
Kumu Bobo Miles will be playing at the Palo Alto Hukilau on Friday, March 24 at 8:00 PM. Bobo is an outstanding `ukulele player and has the voice of an angel. He will be backed up by two local musicians. For those of you who watched him open for Britni Paiva, you know what a treat his music is. Many of us get to hear him at our weekly hawaiian language class, of which he is the Kumu, but we always want more.
Bring an appetite, bring a friend
A hui hou,
Kawiks

Was there last nite. Let me tell you all, Kumu Bobo is the real deal!!! Da best live leo ki'e ki'e performer I've had the pleasure to witness in our NorCal area in a long time. Beautiful reditions of da traditional hawaiian kine mele's plus subtle twists on familiar tunes. And covers on Guava Jelly and a Kapena tune. Uke-wise, he has "da kine stroke". If you eva get one chance to encouter this kanaka, in class or be at a performance, you will be treated to dat real kine Aloha that we all would like to embrace.
A Hui Hoa, Sil |

Wow, checked out Bruddah BoBo last night! Talk about sweet and effortless vocals - his rendition of "Alika" was terrific! Such a tremendous talent but more than anything else a truly warm individual... |

Hey! Who is Bobo Miles? Is he really that good as you all say he is? Where is he from? Where does he live? Where can I see him play? I'm real curious now! |
