Somehow, it hits all the closer to home what with having seen and enjoyed Uncle Cyril's fantastic playing just last weekend in Seattle.
Uncle Cyril - may the peace and sweetness that you have so freely cast upon the waters with your music now return to you multiplied at this time of heartbreak.

Yes, it is tragic..please send letters of support to the above email address, I will be sending this off to him on the road in Oregon next week, this would really help him a lot.
He has decided to continue to finish out his commitment on the road..our prayers are with him..

Our hearts went out to him last night - just wanted to go and hug him. I hope his singing and playing can bring a touch of relief to his grief. |

It was a good thing that Cyril has ohana along the tour route. Grief shared is halved. |

Cyril, bless his heart, stuck it out to his very last performance on the tour, which was here in Eugene. What an extraordinary man and dedication on his part, under such incredibly hard circumstances. Our hearts and thoughts will be with him and his family during these difficult days. Mahalo to George & Nancy Kahumoku, and Dennis Kamakahi too for keeping it all together and lending support at the end of their tour together; for I am sure everyone was affected by this tragic loss.
