Just saw Barefoot Natives last night here on Kaua`i -- awesome show, by these two (Willie K & Eric Gilliom) musicians (plus bassist & drummer).
Lots of great guitar work, lots of laughs...and music that ranged from traditional Hawaiian, to "covers" of George Harrison and others, to some pounding rock, to some opera (yes!), and beyond. Eric gives Willie a run for his money, both with the music _and_ the comedy.
They got two standing ovation hana hou bids -- for the first one, they came back and did two numbers. But for the second one (we'd already headed up the aisle...) they did about 4 more. Quite a night!
