On Saturday, July 29, I'll be opening for Steven Espaniola ( http://www.stevenespaniola.com ) at his CD release party. Steven's new CD, "Ho`omaka" is a terrific piece of work featuring his haunting falsetto singing and instrumental skills. The party will be at 7 PM at the Honolulu Grill, 6464 Bethel Island Rd., Bethel Island. Tickets are $35.00 and include a Lu`au dinner. Phone 925 684-9808.
On Sunday, July 30, I'll be returning to the Pacific Bay Coffee Co. ( http://www.pacificbaycoffee.com/ ) for a couple of hours of slack key instrumentals. I'll be playing from 12:00 to 2:00 PM, there is no charge for admission, and I can vouch for the excellent coffees, teas, and other comestibles served at this charming place. John and Kerry Laird have made their shop a community resource, presenting a wide variety of musical entertainment and creating a welcoming environment. And there's free wireless internet!!!
