Went to see our local member of Hawaiian entertainment royalty last night at a local upscale restaraunt. Bill is the nephew of Moe and cousin to Iz. We are very fortunate to have him here in Central Oregon. He will be performing in Hawaii from Nov 2nd through the 10th. Although the Hawaii venues are not posted on his web-site I'll get with him and find out the whens and wheres and post them here. If he is playing near you, you should definitely check him out. Great voice/guitar and a great human being.

If you are in or around Bend in Dec Bill is putting on his annual Hawaiian Christmas show on the 2nd at the Tower Theatre. The Hokulea Dancers will be there too.

Check out his web-site. I'd highly recommend his "Islands Away" and "After the Rain" CDs. His slack key guitar work on Waimanalo Blues is just awesome. He's been in the studio recording his next album. From what I hear it will be all Hawaiian music. Word is, he's doing a cover of Jerry Santos' "Ku'u Home O Kahaluu". I've heard him perform it live and he does a wonderful job. I'll let you all know when it's released.
