Hau'oli Makahiki hou (Happy New Year)! I just wanted to know what are your goals for 2007 if you have any?

My Goals for 2007 are:

-find a job that I love
-go back to school
-get financial aid for school
-get kawaipunahele on my cell phone soon
-keep posting on taropatch
-learn how to play the piano again, after years of lessons

Aloha Kakou, maluhia a me aloha mau loa (Hello everyone, peace and love forever)

My goals for '07:

-Make my 92nd post
-Be a better person than I was last year - might be hard to do :)
-Find another finger style guitar player to share music with
-Play for a small group
-Learn basic Hawaiian 'olelo
-Learn at least one song by Chillingworth and by Kane
-Buy two Taylor GS, and sell the rest (steel sring that is)

And while I am thinking about it, I think Mark Hanson deserves some kind of official recognition for his book of Hawaiian masters music. This book has presented some serously awesome music to generations of Ki Ho'Alu players to come.
Thank you Mark!

Bob

I can teach you some basic Hawaiian 'olelo by email. I took 'olelo Hawai'i up to the 202 level in college.

Drop about 15 lbs.
Keep playing music.
Let traffic bother me less.
Get closer to "balance".

I hope there is no question about it.
Very good pin striping on you site, btw.
Avoid the paint fumes and have a good year!

Thank you Bob for the compliment regarding my art.

As for making it through the year, one never knows. I really have all the same goals that everyone else does..get in better shape...spend more time playing music...be a better person...etc, etc. However, I figure I can't do any of that, though worthwhile and commendable, if I don't get through the year. Really it was just a joke.

I wish good health and prosperity to all of the T-patch 'ohana. And I hope that you all realize your goals and resolutions for '07.

Should I maybe send you a beginning piano book, or one for whatever level you're at for that matter? Or could I give you some lessons some other way? I'd love to teach you some stuff if you'd like.

That doesn't matter. I can still do that for you. I know you'll get it.
