well, maybe more.
Since, as we know it...
"I love my coutry, but I think we should start seeing other people."
So my secret goal...and for taropatch eyes only,
my mission be...
I wanna express the beauty we have in Colorado and the West in a musical fashion.
Not that this is a new idea...
but,
somehow,
someway,
to express Aloha for great mountains, fresh air, clean water. wildlife, stars, nature and etc. in a way that combines say, a little Hawaiian, a little Colorado, and a little of this and that....
mostly the common things to each of us, and also, the unique things of beauty to our geographical areas.
In Colorado, it might include a little hint of John Denver, or progressive bluegrass, or early Michael Murphy (Boy from the Country), or whatever your heart hears.
But for sure some 6ths thirds, some rhythms and language from native cutltures... and, as we say in the San Luis Valley...whatever!
So if everyone added a little of their own culture to what we love about Hawaiian music and culture, what woudl we create?
Well, anyway...
