You start a song with the phrase "in G, 2 vamps".
You consider mac salad a vegetable.
Two scoops rice is an appropriate accompaniment to spaghetti.
You don't need a pick for your ukulele.
Most folks don't understand your "bumpa stickas" on your guitar / ukulele case. |

Andy, that's what I've been thinking! There's almost 50 Reasons... makes for some fine print, but 25 on the front, 25 on the back? :-) I can see it!

Free T-shirt if one of yours is used?
Here's a couple more: (Not numbered because I know my status)
You put freshly-grated ginger on everything.
Your guitar strap has a breadfruit leaf or gecko print.

Yea to the T-shirt idea Andy. I have been sharing these with many of my family, friends, and employees who are constantly bemused by my obsession

Eh, Jeff! When people are lacking discipline and focus, they view disciplined, focussed individuals as obsessive. Who're the "slackers" now?
If you listen over and over to a tune just to understand what the artist's thumb is doing.
If you pronounce the okina in Hawai'i.
If tripe stew, raw fish, oxtail stew, and poi don't gross you out.
If while practicing vamps, a tightkeyer asks you the name of the song you've been playing. |

People can read the "Mahalo for removing your slippahs" sign under your Christmas wreath |

Thought of a few more on the way to work: (I'll start with a random number cause I lost track!)
51) A friend invites you over for a casual guitar session and you find a 17 course meal and a case of Heineken ready when you arrive 52) You canna understand why McDonalds on the mainland doesn't serve the Spam, Rice and Egg breakfast combo 53) You drive all over Dallas trying to find a "Zippys" 54) You refer to your trips to Hawaii as "my annual spiritual pilgrimage" 55) You've ever shoveled snow off your driveway in slippahs
I'm sure I'll think of mo bettah ones later....

When you know that: kani-ka-pizza == slack key and pizza kani-ka-pilsner == slack key and beer kani-ka-pila == slack key and pila |

Guyz, as your biggest fan, in order to move this whole venture forward, you gotta discern between being a food-loving Local and a Slacker. There *is* a difference, however slight.
Bonton roulez! ( That's Southern Hawaiian for E Ho'olaule'a!)

Every time I've jammed, food has been present. Every time I've practiced with a halau, food has been present. Every performance has been accompanied by food. |
