Great Hawaiian Folk Life Festival

Kapiolani Park Bandstand, March 24th & 25th, 2007 - 10AM - 5PM

Celebrating nearly 2000 years of Hawaiian culture, 200 years of the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration, 35 years of the Association of Hawaiian Civic Clubs O'ahu Council's "Ho ike ike", and the 136th birthday of Prince Jonah Kuhio. Featuring some of Hawaii's finest entertainers, including: Ho'okena, Maualua, Ledward Ka'apana, Dennis Kamakahi, Ku'uipo Kumukahi, Sean Naauao, Michael Ka'awa, Tony Conjugacion, and more, plus 10 hula halau.

In addition to the Kapi`olani bandstand performances, there will be free workshops at the Outrigger Waikiki Beach Hotel -- ki ho`alu (Led Kaapana), `ukulele (Bryan Tolentino & Weldon Kekauoha), and more.
