Jeff Peterson will be presenting his original compositions and arrangments for slack key guitar Friday, April 6. The concert will begin at 7:30pm at the rRed Elephant, 1144 Bethel St in Honolulu.
Jeff was a contributing solo artist on the Grammy Award-winning album "Slack Key Guitar, Volume 2", in 2005. He has had the honor of working with a wide range of artists and groups including Eric Clapton, slack key guitarist Ledward Kaapana, James Galway, Michael Feinstein, the Honolulu Symphony, Hawaii Opera Theatre, jazz bassist Rufus Reid, shakuhachi master Riley Lee, soprano Dana Hanchard, and with many other artists in the fields of Hawaiian, classical, and jazz music. Jeff is reknowned for his originality which reflects his roots in the jazz, classical, and slack key genres.

Slack key guitarist and songwriter Doug Fitch will open the second set of the evening with original compositions. Fitch has studied with Raymond Kane, Walter Carvalho, and Grammy Award winners Ozzie Kotani and Ledward Ka'apana.
