The Sound of Ki Ho`alu (slack key band) is just our small class, committing various acts of musical spasticity <G> Thumstruck has a ki ho`alu workshop on Saturday afternoon/evening, too.

Here's what Thumbstruck tells me:

I'll be giving a slack key workshop on Sunday, 4:30-5:50 in the Olympic Room.
Da Uddah Guyz are playing Monday 6:30-7 pm Alki Court Stage.
(Also I have a buttonbox panel Saturday 5-6:30, SCT Room West.)

I just got confirmation that a big name in Hawaiian music will be at the Festival this year:
KENNETH MAKUAKANE will be performing at the Mural Amphitheatre at 8PM on Saturday, May 26th.

He's got over a hundred albums to his credit as a producer and performer (best known as a member of The Pandanus Club), and innumerable credits as a songwriter. This is a wonderful opportunity.
