Join Keoki as he shares with you songs from his home on the Big Island of Hawai'i. He'll review strumming techniques, picking, and tablature reading too! As a farmer, pig trapper and three-time GRAMMY award winner, Keoki cherishes his heritage and culture of Hawai'i through his love of the land and the music. All ages and levels welcome!
Slack Key Guitar workshop - Big Island Style - 12:30-2:00 pm
As Keoki continues his vision to educate and share the stories of generations past, like his father, he shares the gift of story-telling through song. Songs from the Big Island are rich in history. Taropatch tuning and tablature will be covered. All ages and levels welcome!
