See http://www.taropatch.net/tunings.htm for other tunings. Taro patch is DGDGBD. From standard (EADGBE), you're dropping the 1st (smallest), 5th & 6th strings one whole step.

eh tanks andy brudda... i can see da notes, but you can tell me how fo do um wit da keys? you know what i mean? i know the second to da bottom string stays da same, and den from there, like when you put your finger on the fourth fret on the third from the bottom string, it sounds like the second from the bottom string. you get one explanation that sounds like dat? sorry eh. i don't know any other way to tune em without one piano or something.

For taro patch (1st string is smallest):

 [D] 6th String: 5th fret is same as 5th string open (6/5 = 5/0)
 [G] 5th String: 7th fret is same as 4th string open (5/7 = 4/0)
*[D] 4th String: 5th fret is same as 3rd string open (4/5 = 3/0)
*[G] 3rd String: 4th fret is same as 2nd string open (3/4 = 2/0)
*[B] 2nd String: 3rd fret is same as 1st string open (2/3 = 1/0)
 [D] 1st String
* = Same as standard (EADGBE) tuning

My goal is to be able to play as well as people think I can.
